Changeability = the ability to change.

We all need changeability if we’re to change the things we want to change in our lives and business, improve what we want to improve, have less of what we don’t want and more of what we do want.

Yet often when we try to change something in life or business – it’s harder than we think.

So why is it hard to make changes and what can we do about it?

We tend to self-sabotage our best laid plans for change because as humans we’re programmed so that much of our behaviour is carried out on an unconscious level.

This unconscious or subconscious activity is focussed on keeping us safe, which means maintaining the status quo as much as possible.  It means keeping within the boundaries of our present experience and self-beliefs about us and the world.  It means looking for evidence to back up our comfortable version of the world based on what has worked up till now.

All of which is absolutely fine for day to day living but is not so fine when we want to do things that take us outside of our comfort zone or challenge and move us outside of our present views, beliefs and self-talk.

So in  order to make changes in life and business we want to change the beliefs and self-talk that  disempowers us holds us back, and replace them with empowering positive ones.  This is where mind management comes in.

In this video I talk about a mind management program specifically aimed at enhancing our changeability – as laid out in the changeability book. I give you a flavour of the program and the ten steps and techniques which make up the changeability book – or to give it it’s full title – Changeability: Manage  your Mind – Change your Life.
